1. Who we are

This website is operated by Shandong Zhao Kun International Trade Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”), Room 2001, Building 5, Zhengbang Business Center, No.16 Huaxin Road, Licheng District, Jinan, Shandong, China. We export used trucks, trailers and construction machinery to buyers worldwide. For any question about this policy or about your data, contact us at carlzhao@zhaokuntrade.cn.

2. What we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us, plus basic technical data about your visit:

• Enquiry details you submit — your name, country, email address, the product you are interested in and the requirements you type into the enquiry form. If you send the enquiry through WhatsApp, the message is delivered through WhatsApp; if you send it by email, it arrives in our mailbox.
• Contact details you share — your WhatsApp number or email address when you message us.
• Website usage data — pages viewed, the site you arrived from, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and anonymous cookie identifiers (see section 4).

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data such as bank credentials, ID numbers or health information. Please do not send these through the website.

3. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and follow up on your request.
• To arrange inspection videos, proforma invoices, shipping and after-sales support.
• To measure and improve our advertising — for example to understand which ads bring genuine buyer enquiries rather than wasted clicks.
• To keep records required for accounting, customs and export documentation.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with parties who help us fulfil your order (for example freight forwarders, customs brokers, inspection companies or the bank issuing the letter of credit) and only as far as needed.

4. Cookies and advertising measurement

This site uses the Meta Pixel together with Meta’s Conversions API, so that we can measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. In practice this means:

• When you visit a page, Meta receives an anonymous event (for example “page viewed” or “product catalogue viewed”) together with a cookie identifier such as _fbp. If you arrived from one of our ads, a click identifier such as _fbc is also stored.
• When you click a WhatsApp button or the enquiry button, an event is recorded so we can tell that the visit produced a genuine enquiry. The content of your message is not sent to Meta — only the fact that the action happened, plus the page it happened on.
• Part of this data is sent from our web server directly to Meta (the Conversions API), so that measurement still works when browser tracking is limited. The two channels are linked by a shared event identifier so the same action is not counted twice.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. processes this data under its own privacy terms as our advertising provider. We do not receive your personal identity from this data — we see aggregated counts.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work and you can still contact us by WhatsApp or email. You can also limit ad personalisation in your Meta ad preferences.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept while we are in contact with you and for as long as we need it for commercial and legal records (normally up to 3 years after the last contact, and longer where export or tax rules require it). Advertising measurement data is retained by Meta according to Meta’s own retention settings. Website analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

6. Security

This website is served over HTTPS and access to our admin systems is restricted. Messages and enquiries are stored on servers used by us and our service providers. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential documents until we have agreed how to exchange them.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons;
• stop using it for advertising measurement.

Write to carlzhao@zhaokuntrade.cn and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), we will honour those rights as well.

8. Children

This is a business-to-business site about trucks and machinery. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data we will update this page and change the date at the top. The current version always applies from the moment it is published.
